Loyco celebrates 10 years of B Corp certification with a successful 4th recertification!
In 2015, we became one of the first Swiss companies to achieve B Corp certification. Ten years later, we’re proud to continue this adventure: our 4th recertification has been validated, with a score that has risen sharply. Here’s a quick look at our results and upcoming challenges!
International recognition of positive impact
The B Corp label, for Benefit Corporation, distinguishes companies that meet high standards in terms of social and environmental performance, transparency and governance. It is based on a rigorous assessment, the B Impact Assessment which measures a company’s impact on its employees, community, customers, environment and governance.

Our challenges: evolving standards and reflections on our business model
This recertification comes at a time when B Corp standards are evolving, requiring ever stronger commitments. For us, this means taking our commitment even further. Two major challenges lie ahead:
Our relations with customers from industries deemed controversial
The B Corp label imposes heightened vigilance with regard to so-called “controversial” sectors.
We have decided to take concrete action through several measures:
– a policy for managing complaints and protecting whistle-blowers,
– a whistle-blowing mechanism accessible via our website,
– the provision of an external confidant,
– and the exclusion of certain sectors from our activities (notably via our Guru agency).
The “customer” focus of the B Impact Assessment
The B Impact Assessment, a certification assessment tool, now looks more directly at the impact of the products and Services offered by companies. This directly questions our business model and prompts us to think in depth about how our activity can generate a positive impact.
