This first part will give you a clear overview of the fundamentals of public procurement:
- Applicable legislation – familiarise yourself with the legal and regulatory frameworks governing public procurement in Switzerland.
- Types of procedures – explore the different procedures depending on threshold values: from direct award to open procedure.
- Award criteria – learn to identify and define objective and transparent criteria for evaluating bids.
- Stages of a Tender procedure – master each phase, from preparing the file to the final award of the contract.
Share a moment of discussion and relaxation with our specialists and the other participants over lunch (included in the training fee). A great opportunity to meet peers, share your experiences and expand your professional network.
Put the concepts covered in the morning into practice through concrete, interactive exercises, guided by our experts:
- Developing an acquisition strategy – define needs and choose the best approach to launch a Tender.
- Analysing a Tender file – identify the key elements of a file and understand how to respond effectively.
- Assessing award criteria – practise applying criteria to select the most relevant bids.

Simply bring your computer, something to take notes with, and a calculator if you have one handy. We will take care of the rest!
The digital training materials will be sent to you no later than the day before the session. The practical case brief and its answer key will be made available at the end of the training.
A certificate of attendance will be provided after the training.
The refund conditions following a cancellation are as follows:
- Up to 15 days before the training: full refund or rescheduling at no cost.
- Less than 15 days before the training: 50% refund or rescheduling at no cost.
