Case study: Supporting Banque du Léman in its growth
There’s nothing like a concrete example to demonstrate our expertise. And we rarely do. So today, we wanted to share with you a case that’s particularly close to our hearts: that of Banque du Léman, with whom we’ve been working for several years. How did we contribute to structuring its HR activities in a context of strong expansion? Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at this rewarding partnership.
Banque du Léman, a retail bank in French-speaking Switzerland, had 26 employees in 2018 when it entrusted us with its first mandate. A few years later, this structure has grown impressively. The proof is in the pudding: today, it employs 75 people. But such growth inevitably comes with its share of challenges. Challenges for which we have provided support in several areas, including reorganization and upgrading the skills of the HR function.
What issues did we address?
Diverse administrative needs
From our very first discussions with Banque du Léman, a number of administrative management needs became apparent. Our mission? To provide efficient solutions thanks to our wide range of Services. We have taken charge of key areas such as insurance portfolio management, including LPP, payroll management and HR Services, as well as claims and accident management. A tailor-made collaboration, adapted to simplify and strengthen their day-to-day operations.
The challenges of rapid growth
With the rapid expansion of Banque du Léman, a new challenge loomed on the horizon: that of better structuring and centralizing its HR data, while offering advanced functionalities to employees (management of personal data, access to pay slips, expense reports, vacation absences, etc.). To meet this need, we had to take a digital turn by digitizing not only HR processes, but also the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit.
Digitizing to modernize HR processes
This development was an essential step in supporting Banque du Léman’s growth and ensuring smooth, optimized human resources management. It made all the more sense since, until 2024, Banque du Léman did not have an internal HR function to steer its projects and meet its human resources needs.
How did we respond?
A hybrid solution combining technology and human expertise
To meet these challenges, we adopted a two-pronged approach combining technological innovation and human know-how. Firstly, we introduced
Then, our Loyapps Services team stepped in with all its expertise to play the role of a genuine external “HR function” and steer the strategic implementation of this customized HRIS.
A successful transition to a new HR experience
Thanks to this approach, Banque du Léman has been able to combine structuring and innovation to initiate a smooth transition to a digitalized HR environment. This transformation benefits not only the organization, but also, and above all, the employees, offering them modernized, accessible Services that are better adapted to their needs. Employees now have a digital solution for managing their onboarding, personal data, absences, expense accounts and performance appraisals. The main functionalities are also available in the form of a mobile application.
Today, the Bank also has an in-house HR function, which we continue to support through various projects.
Why did you come up with PeopleWeek?
Promoting the integration of Loyco’s Services
Among the various HRIS on the market and with which we work, our choice fell on PeopleWeek, as it offers the highest degree of integration with the tools Loyco uses for payroll management, HR administration and claims management. This choice enabled us to ensure optimum continuity between our Services and the functionalities offered to the Bank, while guaranteeing simplified and consistent use for its teams.
The choice of HRIS depends on the context
At Loyco, the choice of HRIS is always based on the unique context of each customer. We have developed a close working relationship with PeopleWeek, which combines technical and business expertise. This synergy enables us to offer our customers a solution that is perfectly integrated with our tools, ensuring rapid, secure and efficient synchronization between the different systems.
But because every organization is unique, we also work with other HRIS systems, always with the aim of selecting the tool best suited to our customers’ specific needs.
PeopleWeek for Banque du Léman
To meet the challenges faced by Banque du Léman, the PeopleWeek solution was a strategic choice. It has enabled us to successfully meet the challenge of digitizing HR processes, while consolidating the Services we have been offering this trusted customer for many years.
A collaboration that perfectly illustrates our vision of transforming everyday challenges into levers for simplification and efficiency!
